Duck Hunt

Who has never played the famous Duck Hunt?

Developed by Nintendo Research & Development, Duck Hunt was officially launched on April 21 1984 in Japan, 18 October 1985 in the U.S. and August 15, 1987 in Europe. It was one of the best-selling games of all time.

In Duck Hunt, players use the Nintendo Zapper Light Gun (or you can call it only pistol if you prefer) and try to shoot ducks in mid-flight. A very simple game.

The game has 3 modes
A duck - In each round you have 10 ducks to knock down, but it appears one at a time and you have three shots.
2 Ducks - In each round you have 10 ducks to knock, but different from the way duck '1', in this mode appears two ducks at a time and you have three shots.
Clay shooting - In this mode are thrown 2 dishes at a time, and the dishes are smaller than the ducks and they are released much faster which makes this more difficult.

In the first 2 modes when you slaughter a duck, a dog is shown holding them, otherwise it will appear laughing at you and will also appear if you do not go to the next stage. On the Clay Shooting mode the dog does not appear.

TRIVIA
- The game has an error at level 100. The damn dog starts laughing at you, but the duck did not even show up and be counted as a lost duck. The 2nd and 3rd duck quickly appear in different places, that is impossible to shoot them down. And the other ducks did not even appear on the screen, and are not counted giving Game Over.
- The dog makes an appearance in the game Barker Bill's Trick Shooting (another game weapon) and it can be triggered.
- There was a version of the game, which came with Super Mario Bros. The version was a bundle of games containing Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt.
