Pong has a great importance for the history of the video games, it was simply the first profitable game in history by starting an industry that moves billions. Created by Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney, was installed on a console connected to a monitor and to play it was necessary to insert a coin.
To test their new creation, the inventors have left the machine in a bar in San Francisco, California. The next day, they had a surprise when they arrived, the machine was full of coins. Those coins have changed the view of people, giving rise to a major industry. The creators realized that was not interesting to sell the idea to someone, then on June of 1972 was founded the company Atari.
Then have been developed such features as:
- Modes: Single Player, Multi Player and Artificial Intelligence vs. Artificial Intelligence.
- The use of Lua Scripting Language for Artificial Intelligence.
- Configuration of Artificial Intelligence to New Player.
